Plans for the 9th edition of the Devolution Conference 2025 set to take place in Homa Bay County from 12th to 15th August have commenced. The steering committee chaired by Nyeri governor Mutahi Kahiga said the conference will also feature partner-led side events to offer delegates a variety of experiences. The annual conference is regarded as an important tool to showcase devolution in Kenya and as a knowledge-sharing platform to enhance the implementation of devolution. The theme for this year is 'For the people for posterity, devolution as a catalyst for equity, inclusion and social justice'.
