Chief Executive Officer of the National Cancer Institute of Kenya Dr Elias Melly further reveals that at least 65 percent of cancer patients are lost every year, a situation that calls for a multi-sectoral approach to intervention mechanisms. And as Wycliffe Oketch reports, cancer remains the third cause of death in Kenya after infectious and cardiovascular diseases.
