Social entrepreneurs and young innovators in the country have been challenged to explore opportunities and networks in different avenues, which will in turn boost their growth as well as position them as leaders in the social innovation space. Speaking during the senior sector leaders’ strategy meeting in Nairobi, Ashoka East Africa regional director Vincent Otieno, reiterated the need to move from a world where a few people lead change to one where everyone has the skills, confidence and opportunities to do so.
