Catholic bishops raise concerns over recently signed law on Computer Misuse and Cybercrime

The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops KCCB has raised concerns on the recently signed laws among them the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act and the Land Amendment Act, saying they were enacted in a harry. Speaking in Nairobi, KCCB led by Chairperson Maurice Muhatia, raised fears that the act can be used to silence government critics as well as manipulate the electoral process. And as Timothy Kipnusu now reports the men of the cloth also hit out at the government for failing to tame massive corruption that they say has continued unabated.
