Counties mark Mashujaa Day with tributes to Raila Odinga amid emerging political divisions

The Mashujaa day celebrations across the counties were also characterised with decorated tributes to former prime minister the late Raila Odinga. Kisii governor Simba Arati indicated the party’s willingness to have president William Ruto as its flag bearer, underscoring the orange party’s commitment to be part of the next government. On his part Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya threw barbs at the government for failing to honour Raila when he was alive.
