Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has denied claims that controversial Turkish businessman Harun Aydin who was deported from Kenya in 2021 has won a tender to construct 100,000 affordable housing units. The ministry however said he had placed a bid for the tender but was not successful. The CS spoke after a meeting with Televangelist Apostle Ng’ang’a who once kicked out a woman who had gone to seek help to pay rent and instead asked her to go for affordable housing units.
