Githunguri dairy cooperative society for instance credit the knowledge of experts from New Zealand who helped their extension officers in making milk production, resulting in realization of more produce. Dairy farmers have also credited the output to reduced dependency on commercial feeds by 50 percent in favour of protein fodder.
