Displaced residents in Karimenu accuse government of delayed compensation

The Karimenu II dam water supply project in Gatundu North in Kiambu County, which also supplies water to parts of Nairobi County, received a watershed restoration boost from climate change and Sustainability Watch stakeholders. The watersheds, which are critical to water security in Kiambu and Nairobi, are set for a restoration initiative, with an investment of more than 200 million Kenya shillings.
