The East African Community secretariat on fisheries and aquaculture is working on modalities to disburse the more than 200 million shillings meant to tackle illegal fishing on Lake Victoria. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will empower the secretariat to implement the strategies agreed upon to drive sustainable fishing on Lake Victoria. Wycliffe Oketch reports
