Media leaders from across the Global South gathered in Xi’an City, northwest China, for the inauguration of the Global South Media Partners Mechanism and the 13th Global Video Media Forum (VMF) an event aimed at amplifying the voices of developing nations and promoting fairness in global communication. Speaking at the event, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation Managing Director Agnes Kalekye Nguna underscored the need for African countries to reclaim their narrative and showcase their progress to the world.
