Youths have been urged to apply for the upcoming recruitment in the Kenya Defense Forces as the government will ensure transparency in the event. Addressing the residents of Mwea at Rurii Primary school in Mwea West, Kirinyaga County, during Mashujaa Day celebrations, Kirinyaga County commissioner, Hussein Allasow, assured the youth who were present that only those who are successful will be taken, calling them to turn up in large numbers
He revealed that the county recently conducted interviews for unemployed university graduates with skills in construction-related fields, resulting in 157 youths being absorbed into the government’s Affordable Housing Project.
