A section of Civil Society Organizations have called on the government to increase budgetary allocation to the fight against the spread of Mpox disease. Led by AHF organization’s program director Samuel Kinyanjui ,the stakeholders urged the government to refocus the allocation towards critical areas such as vaccine procurement, advanced diagnostic tools, and community sensitization The stakeholders who spoke in a forum, in Nairobi, urged the WHO to expedite the review and approval of alternative M.pox vaccines to enhance affordability and accessibility.
