Government using Kahiga uproar to divert public attention, Kiambu senator claims

Speaking during a campaign rally in Machakos, Thang’wa claimed that the government was deliberately amplifying the debate around Kahiga’s comments to shift focus away from key issues such as the Kasarani killings, the abduction of activists Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, the planned sale of state corporations, and the recent signing of controversial bills into law by President William Ruto.
