High turnout as Kajiado youths seek NYOTA fund verification

Hundreds of youths in Kajiado County have thronged various verification centers for the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) program amid rising unemployment concerns. In Kajiado East Subcounty alone, 3,470 applicants turned up against a target of 350 from five wards, with young mothers seen in long queues clutching their ID cards in hopes of securing government funding.
