IEBC summons Kasipul by-election candidates after violence, warns of possible disqualification

The independent electoral and boundaries commission IEBC has summoned candidates in the upcoming Kasipul constituency parliamentary by-election slated for November 27th, following the recent violence witnessed in the constituency. Speaking after a multi-agency security meeting in Nairobi, IEBC chairperson Erastus Ethekon warned that the electoral body could disqualify candidates found guilty of the electoral offence.
