The fire that broke out at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport (JKIA), burning for nearly two hours has been contained. The Kenya airports authority (KAA) later issued a statement confirming that airport operations were not disrupted. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but it spread towards the airport’s runway along 75 airport north road. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze, and operations had returned to normal by the end of the night.
