John Legend stands firm on Rwanda show decision

Grammy award winning musician John Legend has defended his performance in Kigali despite calls for him to call it off due to the DRC conflict. Rwanda is widely considered to be providing arms and support for the M23 rebels fighting in the neighbouring country. Legend performed at the 2025 Move Afrika concert, that aims to develop structures and make Africa an attractive tour destination for international artists.
