Kenya is set to benefit from four new mega projects worth 4.8 billion shillings in support of green transition. The projects funded and supported by the European Union Delegation, target to reduce the impact of climate change, preserve biodiversity, restore ocean health and improve productivity of nature and assets. The projects include: adoption of sustainable land management practices in Lake Baringo watershed, establishment of resilient community conservancies, advancing Kenya’s circular economy and support measurement, reporting and verification system(MRV) to track Kenya’s climate progress.
