It was preceded by three days of public events to honour the memory of one of Kenya's biggest political figures, who will be buried privately after the ceremony. Mr Odinga died last week aged 80, after a political career which saw him run unsuccessfully five times for president. He served for five years as prime minister as part of a coalition government, but spent much of his career as a pro-democracy opposition figure and was jailed for several years. #railaodingafuneral #railaodinga Subscribe: http://bit.ly/subscribetoafrica Website: https://www.bbc.com/africa Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bbcnewsafrica/ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/bbcafrica/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bbcafrica/
