Kenyans bid farewell to Raila 'Baba' Odinga - BBC Africa

Thousands of people gathered to watch the funeral service of the former prime minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga, in Bondo in the west of the country. It was preceded by three days of public events to honour the memory of one of Kenya's biggest political figures, who will be buried privately after the ceremony. Mr Odinga died last week aged 80, after a political career which saw him run unsuccessfully five times for president.
