The western region chapter of the Kenya primary schools heads association (KEPSHA) is calling on the government to urgently build science laboratories in junior secondary schools to ensure the success of the competency-based curriculum (CBC). while addressing head teachers from across the western region at this year’s kepsha annual conference in Busia, KEPSHA regional chairperson tobias omusale praised the government for the recent employment of JSS teachers. his message was echoed by national chairman Ali Fuad, who stressed that CBC cannot succeed without proper infrastructure like science labs in schools.
