Residents of Ruai in Nairobi County woke up to find a cheetah preying on their domestic animals. They managed to cage it until rangers from the Kenya Wildlife Service arrived and ferried it to safety. Resident are decrying the high numbers of wild animals in the area such as hyenas, hippopotamus and crocodiles found in the Nairobi sewer plant in Ruai and its environs.
