Massive turnout for funding verification across 1,450 wards for Nyota Program

The Nationwide Verification exercise for the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) concluded today, except in Taita Taveta County, which has been postponed to Monday due to logistical challenges. Over half a million applicants turned up for the validation exercise across more than 1,400 wards in 46 counties, all hoping to secure KSh 50,000 in World Bank-funded business start-up funding.
