The Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) has raised concerns over the rising cases of abductions across the country, urging the government to take swift action. Speaking during a fundraiser for Ashinani Sacco in Bumala, Busia County, the party leader David Ochieng said the rate at which young disappear and later are found dead in mortuaries raises serious questions. Busia County Governor, Paul Otuoma, echoed the sentiments, urging the politicians to support security agencies with information to aid investigations on the abductions.
