Kenyan Muslims will join Muslims around the world in observing the holy month of Ramadan . The one month period which is dedicated to prayers and fasting begins tomorrow Saturday 1st March. During the period, the Muslim faithful will refrain from eating or drinking from sunrise until sunset. In Nairobi after Friday prayers, leaders in various mosques appealed to Muslim faithful to help the underprivileged families with essential food to ensure they observe the holy month with dignity.
