NCBA suffers setback over 2019 merger stamp duty exemption

NCBA Group has suffered a legal setback after the High Court dismissed its application to halt a ruling annulling the 2019 stamp duty exemption granted during the merger OF CBA AND NIC BANK. Justice Chacha Mwita ruled the bank had not shown any risk of irreparable loss if the judgment is implemented, pending appeal.
