New National Treasury and Economic Planning Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has pledged to implement various cost-cutting measures and payroll reforms. The initiative according to CS Mbadi will involve linking government payroll to an Integrated Financial Management Information System to eliminate ghost workers. This comes even as newly appointed Environment Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale pledged to rehabilitate public parks with a focus on preserving rivers and greening the country.
