ODM leaders split over support for Ruto government

The orange democratic movement ODM finds itself embroiled in a fierce political storm, as internal divisions deepen over whether or not to support President William Ruto's government. A faction within the party has vehemently criticized President Ruto's leadership, focusing on the party's ambition to secure the presidency in 2027, some have even rejected presidential appointments, accusing their colleagues in government of sycophancy and engaging in praise and worship of the president.
