President William Ruto says it is unsustainable to borrow funds from lenders, urging MPs to rally behind the proposed Sovereign Wealth Fund and National Infrastructure fund once they resume sittings to unlock the potential of Kenya to become a first-world county. Speaking at the construction of the KenGen-Kaishan Olkaria Green Fertilizer Plant in Nakuru County, Ruto stated that the proposals are key in leveraging on the private sector to generate resources to transform the country.
