Ruto honours Raila Odinga with Kenya’s highest civilian award, The Chief of the Golden Heart (C.G.H)

President William Ruto conferred the highest civilian honour to the late former prime minister Raila Odinga, The Chief Of The Golden Heart (C.G.H). So what does that mean? C.G.H is the highest class of the country’s national honours There are three levels of order of the golden heart of Kenya, Chief Of The Golden Heart (C.G.H), Elder Of The Golden Heart (E.G.H) and Moran Of The Golden Heart (M.G.H) it was established under the national honours act of 2013, the award is conferred by the president to individuals who have offered exceptional service, patriotism, leadership and integrity.
