Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Members of Parliament stormed out of the national assembly protesting what they deemed as an unfair ruling by Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, who declared the Kenya Kwanza coalition the majority side. The Azimio leadership, which accused the speaker of appealing the high court decision on the floor of the house, threatened to end their broad-based political marriage with president William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza, citing unfaithfulness.
