Toyota Foundation partners with First Lady on tractor operations training

The Toyota Kenya Foundation has partnered with First Lady, Mama Rachel Ruto to train women and youth on tractor operations, agribusiness and leadership skills. The partnership is set to benefit 12 counties. Speaking during the conclusion of Nakuru edition on agricultural training where 150 women and youth were trained and certified, the Mama Doing Good Initiative’s Director of Environment and Climate Action Arnold Kipchumba, reiterated the need to invest in knowledge-driven agricultural productivity that also lays emphasis on mechanization. This even as he challenged more women and youths to venture into agricultural activities.
