USHIRIKI WEMA HONOURS MAMA NGINA KENYATTA FOR CHAMPIONING WOMEN’S ENTRY INTO KENYA’S SECURITY FORCES

The Ushiriki Wema Initiative has honoured former First Lady, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, for her pivotal role in advocating for the inclusion of women in the country’s security services during the era of the late President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. The recognition was conferred during the annual “Staara ya Wazee” sporting event, held at the Ulinzi Complex grounds in Lang’ata, Nairobi.
