A family in Gachie, Kiambaa Constituency, Kiambu County, is appealing for financial support from well-wishers to raise funds to clear a 5 million shillings medical bill at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital. The family’s ordeal began after Maureen Wambui was admitted to the hospital, where she underwent treatment for stomach-related complications for three months. She unfortunately passed away, and the body is yet to be released for burial three months later.
