The International Justice Mission (IJM ) has launched a special office to report sexual violence and child abuse cases in the Gede, Kilifi County in the war against such cases in the area. Speaking during the inauguration of the office, the Director General at International Justice Mission Aggrey Juma said that the special offices to be domiciled in some police stations will greatly help end stigmatization of victims. Kilifi County Police Commander, Joseph Ongaye called on citizens to report cases of abuse against children and women without any fear. 115 cases of sexual abuse of children have been reported in Kilifi county since the beginning of this year.
