Evangelical, Indigenous and Pentecostal churches have lauded President William Ruto for cancelling the controversial Adani contracts. The church leaders say the stopping of the contracts is testament that the President was listening to complaints by members of the public. In what appeared to be a veiled response to criticism of President Ruto’s leadership by main stream churches, the evangelical leaders warned against disrespecting the Presidency calling for decorum in any engagements with the Head of State.
