The Moi University Alumni Association is demanding the immediate dismissal of the institutions Vice Chancellor whom they accuse of failing to execute his mandate in addressing the challenges which have now plunged the university into a crisis. Speaking after meeting with Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos at the Ministry of Education in Nairobi, the alumni members decried what they termed as politicization of the management of the university. They also stated that the institution is sinking in financial misappropriation demanding a forensic audit by the Auditor General.
