After the number of tourists visiting Lake Baringo slumped due to banditry in 2022 and early 2023, the current picture is different two year later, and the future is looking up. All that, thanks to Maliza Uhalifu, a multi-agency security operation in the North Rift spearheaded by the National Police Service backed by the Kenya Defence Forces, among others. Our reporter Yusuf Farah visited Baringo and now brings us the state of tourism around Lake Baringo in this third and final part of SECURING THE NORTH RIFT.
