A leading cable manufacturer in the country, has embarked on sensitizing locals in the Coast region on the importance of using high-quality and certified electrical cables in a bid to prevent electrical short circuits and fires in homes. Speaking during a roadshow organized by East African Cables in partnership with Kenya Broadcasting Corporation the company’s Commercial Manager Gerald Gitau urged the public to be cautious when purchasing electrical cables emphasizing the need of selecting certified and genuine products in the market .
