The senate justice and legal affairs committee has sided with 99% of Kenyans on the opposition of the constitution of Kenya amendment bill. The bill that was sponsored by Nandi senator Samson Cherarkey is seeking to among others, increase the term limit of elected officials from the current 5 to 7 years as well as the proposed introduction of the position of prime minister.
