Interior Cabinet Secretary, Kipchumba Murkomen, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguard the welfare of refugees despite growing concerns over aid cuts. Speaking after a closed-door meeting with ambassadors and international donors in Nairobi, Murkomen commended the US government for lifting the ban on humanitarian funding easing fears of food rations in the camps.
