Pig farmers in Migori County have appealed to the government to put in place measures to reduce the cost of animal feeds citing high feed costs, limited market access, and fluctuating demand as major challenges to the business. However, Moses Ouma one of the Pig farmers in Uriri overcame these setbacks by making his feed using locally grown crops such as maize and vegetables.
