Tessie Musalia calls for the recognition of retired service women

Ushiriki Wema Founder Tessie Musalia is proposing the formulation of a mechanism which will ensure that all women who served in the country’s disciplined forces are recognized. Tessie says some of the veterans especially women are languishing in poverty due to terms of employment that they were exposed to back then while serving, as others had to be relieved unceremoniously from active duty without benefits.
