A young girl in Nairobi is becoming an inspiration to both the young and old through her environment conservation initiative in various parts of the country. Eleven-year-old Alice Wanjiru says her motivation comes from her desire to make the world a better place for the next generation. Currently, her main mission is to rehabilitate the Ruai sewer treatment plant, which will, in turn, address the severe health risks, area residents are exposed to.
