Interior and Coordination Principal Secretary Dr Raymond Omollo has directed chiefs to ensure the set national target of planting 100 million trees per year is fully implemented. Speaking during the launch of the Chiefs climate change campaign, at Ondiri Wetland in Kiambu county, Dr Omollo said the move is part of the campaign to raise the country’s tree cover from 12 percent to a significant 30 percent.
