Environment Cabinet secretary Aden Duale has put on notice individuals claiming ownership of City Park Nairobi saying the area belongs to the Kenya Forest Service. Duale spoke when he presided over a 3,000 bamboo seedling planting exercise at the park in commemoration of India`s 78th independence day. The cabinet secretary further announced plans to fence the park to protect it.
