    A worrying humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Burundi – as thousands of Congolese refugees who fled to the neighbouring country have refused to be relocated to another site more than two hundred kilometres away. The government had established reception and transit facilities near the border with the DRC to register, provide emergency assistance and offer temporary shelter to those arriving. Now efforts to them move to a permanent and safe site has been met with protests.
