An official from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission was murdered on Sunday morning following a violent robbery at her residence in Utange, Kisauni Constituency Mombasa County. 48-year-old Aisha Abubakar was attacked by two armed assailants who broke into her house. Her 18-year-old son was injured and is hospitalized in critical condition.
