Muran`ga governor Irungu Kangàta has revealed intentions to source for a private insurance company to provide enhanced medical cover for residents.The county boss said unlike NHIF, the newly created social health insurance fund doesn’t have a provision for an enhanced medical scheme. Kangàta further added that under his Kangàta care program, there is the last expense benefit which isn’t provided for under SHIF unless the county pays extra money for a benefits package.
