Rift valley Regional coordinator Dr Abdi Hassan has issued a stern warning to bandits and cattle rustlers in Maralal in Samburu county and its environs. Dr Hassan said insecurity has severely affected residents of Wamba and Kisima in Maralal town. Dr Abdi which pledging that security and peace shall return to the region urged those in possession of illegal firearms to surrender them to the authorities or face forceful disarmament. Abdi was speaking in the area during a security situation assessment in the region.
