A section of MPs allied to former deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now wants an independent commission of inquiry formed to investigate cases of alleged abductions and land grabbing. Led by Kiambu Senator Karungo Thang'wa the lawmakers say the police cannot be trusted to unravel the mystery of the reported cases of abductions of perceived critics of the government hence the need to have a commission of inquiry.
